Portfolio of Work
I have lived and worked across the globe, leading increasingly complex and impactful projects with growing levels of responsibility. In that time, I have worn many hats — business advisor, finance manager, government liaison, operations specialist, web developer, and more —but one thing has always remained constant: I am a fixer. My expertise is putting out fires, from on-the-ground crisis response to professional turnaround services.
I once stopped a plane from taking off in Bangkok until my client received last-minute embassy paperwork and was able to board. I led a back-country medical evacuation using a sleeping bag as a stretcher. I facilitated a workshop in a prison in El Salvador. I helped turn around a failing $75M USG-funded AIDS initiative in Western Kenya with just six weeks of operational and people support.
I thrive at the intersection of complex systems and real human need, bringing together sharp operational thinking and deep field experience to solve tough, time-sensitive challenges.

Senior Manager, The Panagora Group
2024 - 2025
I joined The Panagora Group when they won the Strengthening Transformative & Equitable Partnerships (STEP) contract from USAID.
As Senior Manager, my role was to lead project management for a $7M+ portfolio of business and nonprofit advisory, capacity-strengthening, stakeholder mapping, and coalition-building in non-permissive environments. The work was just getting underway in the Middle East and North Africa when DOGE began dismantling USAID and we received a stop-work order.
Acceleration Liaison, Tetra Tech
2021-2024
A transformative and fascinating work experience surrounded by some of the best and brightest. I worked globally to strengthen local companies and NGOs and prepare them for U.S. government partnerships—while simultaneously reshaping how the government builds and manages those relationships. I was proud to play a key manager role in our biggest achievements, including standing up workwithusaid.gov, supporting hundreds of local NGOs to partner with the US Government, and embedding with a Kenyan University for six weeks and successfully turning around a flagship USG initiative that was struggling.
Fulbright Manager, WorldBoston
2021-2024
While working full-time at Tetra Tech, I worked part time as the Fulbright Enrichment Manager for New England. In this role, I designed and led a year-long calendar of cultural and professional events for visiting Fulbright Scholars—many of whom were in the U.S. for the first time. It was a joy to welcome them to my home country and city, just as so many generous hosts have welcomed me in theirs.
Asia-Pacific Associate, The Barack Obama Foundation
2020-2021
Working in a two-person team, we launched the Obama Foundation’s first program in Asia, an accelerator program for founders across the Asia-Pacific. It was a privilege to support the incredible social entrepreneurs making an impact in their communities. Some examples include standing up a Covid-19-PPE distribution network in Malaysia, supporting the launch of one of the first ever NK-Pop Stars, and designing a public health campaign in Samoa. And before you ask, yes I did meet him. (on Zoom).
Myanmar Associate, Asian Venture Philanthropy Network
2018
Splitting my time between Singapore and Myanmar, I led an assessment of the social investment landscape of Myanmar. I interviewed SMEs and social enterprises in Yangon, spoke with investors, and attended conferences — all during a fascinating moment in Myanmar’s history. My work was published in the Myanmar chapter of the 2019 AVPN publication, The Social Investment Landscape of Southeast Asia. I also supported the logistics of AVPN’s annual summit in Singapore, the largest convening of philanthropists, impact investors, and venture capitalists in Asia. Myanmar continues to be a very special place to me and I would love to live there again someday.
Program Manager, Rustic Pathways
2015-2018
Conventional professional wisdom says that I should speak to the “outcomes” I achieved in this role in experiential education. Therefore, my resumé mentions 212% growth in program offerings, high satisfaction rates, and an impressive number of beneficiaries. All true, of course. But it was so much more than that to me. Rustic Pathways changed my life. I came to this Southeast Asia based role directly from a corporate bank in Boston and I saw, for the first time, people who chose to live their life a different way — people motivated by unforgettable life experiences, human connection, and social impact. I worked alongside refugees and stateless people, learned about critical issues in development and migration which inspired my career, and enjoyed a lifetime of adventures. I also fell in love with a coworker who is now my wife.
Alternative Asset Funds Associate, State Street
2014-2015
Everyone claims they know how to use Microsoft Excel, but in this job I learned how to REALLY use Microsoft Excel. I’m talking pivot tables, x-lookups, financial modeling, writing and running macros, and dynamic array functions. This skill continues to pay dividends for me no matter where I go in my career.
